Dior is gearing up to show its anticipated Spring 2023 capsule collection tomorrow in Los Angeles, and although we don't yet know exactly what to expect, we know that Eli Russell Linnetz might have something to do with it.

Linnetz is the founder of ERL, the label which has already been worn by names like A$AP Rocky, Kid Cudi, Hailey Bieber, Bella Hadid, and so on, and is stocked at retailers including Dover Street Market and Selfridges. Needless to say, it has been incredibly successful since its inception in 2018.

In an interview with WWD, Kim Jones and Eli Russell Linnetz spoke about their collaboration, revealing that they'd gone back to the early '90s when Linnetz was born to look for inspiration, and tap into Dior's vast archive.

Although the collection is yet to be revealed, we know that we can expect to see ERL's signature padded and quilted designs pop up throughout the collection, as well as its bright colors and funky patterns.

Kim Jones is a master collaborator, and since he joined Dior, we've seen new and exciting partnerships every single collection, with talent like Yoon Ahn, Matthew Williams, and Hajime Sorayama all lending their creative input. We'll see the same thing with Linnetz, in the collection which has been referred to as "California Couture."

We'll without a doubt see skate references paying homage to ERL's Venice Beach origin, as well as exquisite craftsmanship and tailoring courtesy of Dior.

The Dior Spring 2023 collection will take place on May 19, at 8p.m. PST.
