After Beyoncé had to pull out of headlining Coachella this year, the singer is reportedly set to headline the festival in 2018 alongside Eminem and The Weeknd.
Consequence of Sound claims industry sources have told the publication that the trio will be performing as headliners at the 19th installment of America’s preeminent music festival.
A complete lineup is expected to be announced some time in January, coinciding with the sale of tickets.
All three performers will top the festival’s bill for the first time after Eminem made his first and only appearance as a surprise gust of Dr. Dre in 2012. The Weeknd has performed twice already at Coachella, although never as top billing.
Also noteworthy is the fact that, for the first time in the festival’s history, a rock band will not appear at the top of the bill.
