After NSS Magazine and Outpump reported last week that Palace and adidas were planning to follow up their successful Wimbledon tennis collab with a kit for Italian football giant Juventus, the Three Stripes has revealed the club's mono-branded new home jersey for 2019-20. Check out the shirt above.
The Old Lady of Turin's new home jersey trades in the traditional black and white stripes for black/white halves with a hot pink line down the center for a strong contrast. The shirt also features a crewneck collar, sweat-wicking Climalite technology, Juve’s rebranded three-star logo of recent seasons, adidas branding, and sponsor Jeep's logo on the stomach.
There is no official word on any Palace-branded Juventus shirt, although such a collaboration could follow the example of Paris Saint-Germain. Last season, PSG kit supplier Nike delegated the French club's Champions League kits to its Jordan Brand, with the regular league jersey being a standard Swoosh affair.
The NSS report last week pointed out that Palace has already made shirts that referencing jerseys worn by Juve and fellow Italian club Inter in the ’80s, but for now the rumors of a new, official Palace x Juventus shirt are just that: rumors. Meanwhile, the 2019-20 Juventus home kit by adidas is available now.
