Editor’s Notes: Bari born, Milan-trained designer Leo Colacicco presents a characteristically colorful collection for the upcoming SS20 season. Shown first at Pitti Uomo in Florence and then taken to Paris Fashion Week to be shown at No Experiment Lab, LC23's SS20 collection features tons of fabric experimentation, with a particular focus on tie-dye cotton and nylon ripstop.
The suiting options are constructed of the finest Vitale Barberis Canonico fabrics, a leading Italian fabric meal established in 1663. Elsewhere we see paint splatter used to great effect, adding an artistic flair to workwear trousers.
As he's been doing for many seasons, Leo taps one of his favorite cartoons, the Pink Panther, to adorn pieces from the seasonal offerings. The character follows past cartoon character features including the Peanuts and Popeye.
The collection comes on the heels of LC23 opening its first store in Italy. Look for the collection to his this store and other retailers early 2020.
