Levi's

As a highly accomplished singer-songwriter, actor, dancer, record producer, and all-around entertainer, you’ve got to wonder, is there anything Justin Timberlake can’t do? Apparently not. And yesterday Timberlake added another section to his ever-growing resume announcing a new apparel collaboration with Levi’s. Here’s your first look.

Inspired by Timberlake’s music and artistry, he and the Levi’s design team worked together to put a modern spin on iconic Levi’s styles, reflected in the collection’s name: “Fresh Leaves”. Colors, patterns, and silhouettes — like the Sherpa Trucker jacket, Barstow Western shirt, and 501 jeans — remain familiar but contemporary updates help to reinvent the classics with fresh and unexpected results.

We immediately connected with Justin on creating pieces that blended the familiar with the unexpected. Inspired by the stories behind Justin’s music, we used classic materials – canvas, plaids, camo, flannels, sherpa and denim and put them onto familiar silhouettes and Levi’s icons but remixed them by infusing streetwear elements and hits of modernity.

Karyn Hillman, Chief Product Officer for Levi Strauss & Co.

Adding hoods to trucker jackets and shirts, playing with proportions, oversizing, and lengths, and introducing new patterns, the 20-piece men’s capsule collection is rooted in modern Americana. The 501 jean is reimagined as the 501 Slim Taper, inspired by the way Timberlake wears his own 501 jeans while the denim camo Trucker jacket is printed using the brand’s recently launched Project F.L.X. digital laser technology. Check the gallery below for highlights.

Earlier this year, Timberlake and Levi’s partnered up on a custom 50th anniversary Trucker Jacket and later an eight-piece capsule for the artist’s New York pop up. Levi’s also hooked Timberlake up with custom ‘fits for his Man of the Woods Tour which started in March 2018.

The Levi’s x Justin Timberlake “Fresh Leaves” collection will be sold worldwide at select Levi’s stores, on levi.com, and at select wholesale stores from October 4. Hit the link below for more info.
