Chinese footwear label 361° has launched a new sneaker in collaboration with celebrated anime series Mobile Suit Gundam commemorating the program's 40th anniversary. The shoe pulls clear inspiration from RX-78-2, a fictional manned robot from the Gundam universe.
The retro-flavored runner is predominantly crafted from white leather and mesh, as hits of blue, red, and yellow mimic the suit of the aforementioned character. Specifically, the yellow cutouts act as the eyes of RX-78-2, while a yellow shield is applied to the tongue. Additional details come in the form of a red heel pull with RX-78-2 branding, a multicolored outsole, and a white Phylon midsole.
