French watch maker MONA just opened its first shop in Bordeaux, France in a prime corner lot which was once home to a bakery. Alongside MONA's full collection of minimalist timepieces, the boutique offers a "drugstore" style section with a wide selection of goods ranging from Marvis toothpastes, Apotheker chocolates and Hudson Made NY soaps to magazines like "LOVE" and "Purple Fashion."

The new location also doubles as the label's headquarters, creative studio and workshop facility -- every watch is hand assembled on-site. MONA claims "it's not a store, it's a place." Prospective customers can sit down, have a coffee and investigate the watchmaking process firsthand. Not a bad way to shop.
