Nike's self-lacing basketball sneaker, the Adapt BB, experienced a widespread release during NBA All-Star Weekend last month. To no surprise, the shoe sold out in a hurry, leaving sneakerheads and fans of the brand wanting more. Now, Nike announces that it will be bringing its auto-lacing Adapt technology to other sneakers.

"Building off the successful adaptive basketball launch this quarter, we’ll expand the platform into new categories and embed the Adapt technology even further into our digital eco-system," Nike CEO Mark Parker said during the company's Q3 earnings call yesterday.

Parker did not go further in detail, but expect to hear more on the auto-lacing Adapt expansion in the coming weeks and months. Until then, hit the comment section below to let us know what sneakers you would like to see adopt the Adapt tooling.
