Editor’s Notes: Nike has unveiled the latest Mercurial — its perhaps most popular football boot silo — the Mercurial Dream Speed 2. Everything about the boot, from the design to the actual features and technology, is geared towards pure, unadulterated speed. Nike’s top-tier athletes, Sam Kerr, Kylian Mbappé, and Cristiano Ronaldo will debut the boot on the pitch in the next few weeks, and it will be available to purchase starting February 20.

With European football reaching the business end of the season, Mbappé, CR7, and Kerr know its time to step up their game if they’re to have any chance of helping their respective clubs win silverware this season. Mbappé and Ronaldo are in action in the Champions League in the coming weeks, so we might not have to wait too long to see them bag a few goals in the new Mercurial Dream Speed 2.
