What We’re Saying: Following the increasing demand for more Dunk Low colorways, Nike is listening to its fans and is releasing another clean iteration of the popular sneaker. This time around, the mudguard and heel counter is featuring a cracked metallic silver leather, contrasting against the white mesh toebox and upper. The sneaker is finished off with a black Swoosh and tongue tag, as well as a grey midsole.

Although there's yet no official release information available, the sneaker will arrive in women's sizing, and is rumored to be dropping this fall. The release comes after Nike has been trying to release wider size runs and women's exclusive designs, following increasing demand as well as criticism from female consumers. 90% of Highsnobiety's female readers agree they follow sneaker culture, and as Highsnobiety wrote in our feature on the women's sneaker community, "Lack of inclusive sizing is still too common and women’s-exclusive models, like the recent Dunk Disrupt, often miss the mark and are chunky, slimmed down, or fashion-ized versions of a great sneaker that women really just wanted in their own size."

The new metallic silver iteration is another move from Nike to become more inclusive (but still doing it through exclusive releases, instead of larger size runs), but there are still miles to go. The latest Travis Scott x Fragment Jordan 1 is only offered in men's sizing, but that's a conversation for another day.

Stay tuned as the launch date is yet to be revealed.
