Editor’s Notes: The Packer x adidas EQT Cushion ’91 is a major throwback to adidas EQT’s heyday in the ’90s and early ’00s. First launched in 1991, the EQT line wanted to be “everything that’s essential. Nothing that’s not.” That often meant a very minimal approach when it came to colorways.

Although adidas EQT is best remembered for its green and white running silhouettes, Packer chooses to highlight the “Adventure Equipment” line, which was a range of rugged outdoor footwear options, with the EQT Cushion ’91.

Instead of sticking to a muted colorway, color cues have been taken from various archive models to create an homage to the entire adidas EQT line.

The Packer x adidas EQT Cushion ’91 is highly limited, as only 250 pairs will be made available, and can be bought exclusively at Packer’s Teaneck location on September 21. An online release will follow on September 22.
