Season: Summer 2019
Key Pieces: Cop the playing-card print shirt in either red or light blue for the boldest look in the drop — especially when paired with the matching bucket hat. For a more classic Palace design, get the white hoodie with reinterpreted Tri-Ferg logo on the front and reverse.
Release Date: May 24 (May 25 in Japan)
Editor’s Notes: After teasing the collection’s arrival yesterday, Palace has revealed its upcoming collab with Moroccan-born French fashion designer and current Benetton artistic director Jean-Charles de Castelbajac in full.
Alongside the card print button-down shirts with their matching bucket hats and actual playing cards, the collection features graphic T-shirts, hoodies, and caps. De Castelbajac has reworked Palace’s Tri-Ferg logo for the collection, incorporating hand gestures: a middle finger, the “devil horns,” and the peace sign.
The designer himself stars in Palace’s teaser, in which he speaks about the power of attitude, love, and cash. Watch below.
Palace’s collaboration with Jean-Charles de Castelbajac is due out in stores and online this Friday, May 24, with the Japanese drop following on May 25.
