Beats by Dre
1 / 2

Following recent designer collaborations with AMBUSH and A-COLD-WALL*, Beats by Dre is embarking on yet another fashion partnership, this time with London-based paria/FARZANEH.

Taking on the Powerbeats Pro, the earphones are part of Paria's own rotation, as she had been using them for two years prior to teaming up with Beats.

Dubbed "Parallel Universe," the colorway arrives in a deep pixelated plum hue with a digitized Ghalamkar print, printed atop a vibrant yellow tone. Inspired by her Iranian heritage as well as London lifestyle, the earphones are the perfect combination of her two worlds.

Emphasizing the idea of community, the designer reached out to two members of the Paria/FARZANEH universe, artist Russell Maurice and Louis Morlet. Together, they birthed "Marzeh," who is the AI figure featured in the Powerbeats Pro campaign.

"‘Marzeh’ is a true depiction of the present and the future, an opportunity to showcase a different approach to traditional campaigns," said Paria.

For those of us that listen to music on the daily, the Powerbeats Pro are a game-changer. Personally, they've taken my workout to a new level, and with Paria's design, they're also ideal to wear as a fashion accessory.

If you're looking to get your hands on a pair, the collaboration releases online at SSENSE as well as at paria/FARZANEH on May 6, and retails at $250 USD.
