In early August, Mac Miller hinted at an upcoming collaboration with Post Malone, telling Rolling Stone, “Me and Post have been talking about doing an album, so we got together.”

After Miller's tragic death on Friday, September 7, Post Malone shared his condolences via Twitter, writing, "God fucking dammit. You were such an incredible person. You changed so many lives. Had so much love in your heart. You inspired me throughout highschool, and I wouldn't be where I was today without you. Never a more kind and sincere and beautiful person. I fucking love you mac."

In other music news, ScHoolboy Q is delaying the release of his upcoming album due to Mac Miller's passing.
