Leading the way is the court version of the iconic 574, the AM574, which arrives in a clean white look that is right at home on the beach as well as the street.
Slowtide's signature indigo dyed details are appropriately implemented on the AM574, as we find the sneaker constructed from plush vegetable tanned leather. A versatile Revlite outsole ensures durability, all while enhancing comfort through daily wear. Adhering to the beach-specific theme of the collaboration, the sneaker is then outfitted with a nautical lace saver positioned just below the leather tongue tag.
“We have always aspired to collaborate with a brand like New Balance that holds a history of innovation and shares our values of premium craftsmanship," said Slowtide Co-Founder, Dario Phillips. "It was really refreshing to work with the New Balance team on bringing this collaboration to life, from the start we wanted to design a capsule that features Slowtide’s Indigo prints and push the boundaries of visual storytelling. The campaign idea really was inspired from our days on the North Shore and highlighting the collection’s colors with a nautical Hawaiian landscape.”
Alongside the AM574, Slowtide x New Balance also includes a matching pair of white slides, a camp blanket made from recycled materials, and a pocket towel made from sustainably sourced cotton.
