Wacko Maria

Brand: Wacko Maria

Season: SS21

Key Pieces: Obviously cigarettes are not cool, but the reference to Tarantino's own brand of "Red Apple" tobacco makes for an interesting piece of film merch in slide #3.

Release Date: Available now

Buy: Wacko Maria

Editor’s Notes: Wacko Maria has tapped into the fictitious brands from Tarantino's film catalog of Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, From Dusk Til Dawn, and Death Proof for their latest drop. Brands such as the Hawaiian-themed fast food restaurant "Big Kahuna Burger" and "Red Apple" cigarettes were originally conceived by Tarantino so he wouldn't have to include real-life products in his movies, and now in an interesting twist of fate, these made-up brands are now the product themselves.

Wacko Maria uses the title font from Pulp Fiction, in addition to the aforementioned brands across sweaters, bowling shirts, T-shirts. Elsewhere, the latest drop includes some substantial leopard-print outerwear options made in collaboration with neighbouring Japanese label NANGA.
