Hulu is gearing up to release director Babak Anvari's (Under the Shadow) new psychological horror movie, Wounds, starring Armie Hammer and Dakota Johnson. As the film is due out in less than a month, this week the subscription service shares the official trailer for the picture.

Hammer portrays a New Orleans bartender in Wounds, as his world is turned upside down when he picks up a cell phone that was left behind at his bar. Upon taking the phone home, mysterious and downright disturbing things begin to happen to him as his life ultimately starts to unravel.

Wounds is based on Nathan Ballingrud's 2015 novella, The Visible Filth. Zazie Beetz, Karl Glusman, and Brad William Henke also star in the movie, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.

Wounds comes to Hulu in the US on October 18.
