ZAYN has come a long way since his One Direction days, embarking on a solo music career, becoming a dad, and now co-creating an entire eyewear collection.

Teaming up with Arnette, ZAYN has created a collection of sustainable pieces, all produced using biobased materials. The ongoing partnership has kicked off with five frames, all named after iconic retro cars. “The team has been really open and receptive to my ideas and have been a great partner,” explains ZAYN, adding, "I’m very interested in design and the creative elements of a campaign."

The campaign is inspired by some of the singer's own art, and takes the shape of a multi-level videogame with retrofuturistic inspirations throughout. The five sunglasses also take their inspiration from classic '80s and '90s silhouettes, but with an elevated – and sustainable – approach.

“One of my favorites is the Drophead, which pushes an iconic shape to the next level with updated design,” ZAYN explained. The four sunglasses are dubbed the Gullwing, the GTO, the Drophead, and the Type Z, with the latter being available in an optical version, as well.

The ZAYN x Arnette collaboration is available for purchase online, and marks the beginning of an ongoing partnership between the two.
