In celebration of his KITH Aspen pop-up shop, which will remain open through the beginning of early 2017, Ronnie Fieg has previewed a number of coinciding collaborations to further commemorate the occasion. One of the more highly-anticipated drops comes in the form of a project with adidas Consortium.
After receiving a preview, we now know that Fieg’s adidas Consortium for KITH Aspen sneakers will be arriving this Friday, December 23. The delivery in turn consists of the UltraBOOST Mid and the Response Trail BOOST.
The UltraBOOST Mid is a completely new silhouette developed by Fieg and adidas, as the sneaker boasts more luxe design details than previous UltraBOOST arrivals. Featuring a heightened build, the mid-tops then welcome a ribbed, sock-like collar for a snug fit, a cage-less upper featuring all-over multicolored Primeknit, added heel pulls for increased accessibility, and matching multicolored Primekni laces.
Next, the outdoor-specific Response Trail BOOST combines both technical and lifestyle sensibilities. The upper showcases a double-layered mesh vamp and neoprene collar with premium tumbled nubuck overlays, while the speed-lace system is adorned with asymmetrical Three Stripes logos. The midsole is then equipped with BOOST technology at the heel and BOOST foam in the forefoot, and the Continental outsole lugs are inspired by Trail King bike tires to create ample grip no matter the conditions.
You can look forward to the KITH x adidas Consortium UltraBOOST Mid ($220 USD) and Response Trail BOOST ($160 USD) releasing on December 23 at all KITH shops, with an online drop taking place at midnight.
