What We’re Saying: Just weeks ago, Acne Studios introduced an all-new sneaker as a part of its Fall/Winter 2021 Face collection. The Stockholm-based fashion house referred to the 08STHLM, as it's called, as a "streamlined take on the classic basketball sneaker," but all we could see is subtle inspiration pointing to the Air Jordan 4.
After debuting in all-white and all-black colorways, the Jordan-esque luxury model is back in a look that is sure to catch the eye, as this particular pair boasts an upper that is coated entirely in silver glitter. The lavish construction doesn't stop there, though. The tonal printed sole below then features a velour-like finish that is soft to the touch. Acne Studios branding emerges on the side of the shoe, while the brand's face logo appears on the outsole, as well as on the transparent stopper for the laces.
Limited to just 300 pairs, the 08STHLM "Glitter" comes with matching glitter socks with pink stripes, chrome shoe deodorizer balls, and holographic foil stickers. The sneakers arrived wrapped in holographic paper and placed in a retro box.
