Apple iPhone 12 Price & Release Date Just Leaked Online

New pricing and spec details for Apple's anticipated iPhone 12 just leaked online, Variety reports. The information is speculation at this point but appears to be backed by credible Apple intel sources such as MacRumors.

A user on China's Weibo with the handle "Kang" first posted about the new information regarding Apple's upcoming four handsets: the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Max, and iPhone 12 Mini. It also spoke of a newer, cheaper HomePod mini smart speaker.

Here's the rumored breakdown per model:

iPhone 12: $799 starting price. 6.1-inch screen. 64-256GB storage. Available in black, white, red, blue, and green. Shipping Oct. 23 or 24.

iPhone 12 Pro: $999 starting price. 6.1-inch screen. 128-512GB. Available in gold, silver, graphite, and blue. Shipping Oct. 23 or 24.

iPhone 12 Pro Max: $1,099 starting price. 6.7-inch screen. Same storage and color options as Pro. Shipping Nov. 20 or 21.

iPhone 12 Mini: $699 starting price. 5.4-inch display. Same storage and color options as iPhone 12. Shipping Nov. 13 or 14.

All phones will support 5G wireless as standard, feature Apple's Super Retina XDR display, and support Doly Vision HDR standard.

If true, the information is expected to be backed in Apple's launch event, which is slated to take place on October 13.
