There are many universal truths in this life. The sky is blue, grass is green, and North London is red. As Arsenal put another North London Derby to bed to retain their position at the top of the Premier League, a new truth came to light; pink is the key to success.

Ever since adidas returned home to Arsenal, the club has become somewhat of a merchandising machine. The 2022/23 season kit selection has made it incredibly clear that Three Stripes and the Gunners belong together, delivering a home, away, and third kit worthy of any list's top spots.

Matchday kits aren't all that adidas has had to offer, though. Perhaps one of the biggest drops of last year was the team's Jamaica-inspired pre-match jersey, delivered in time for London's Notting Hill Carnival, as well as its charity-exclusive "No More Red" campaign shirts.

The merchandising machine is certainly showing no signs of slowing down as Arsenal took to its biggest fixture of the season, the infamous North London Derby vs. Tottenham Hotspur, repping its new Lunar New Year Caligraphy bomber jackets.

Kicking off the event, the team's starting eleven took to the tunnel in statement style. Each wore a pink bomber jacket over their traditional red home kit (a tradition of the NLD, despite being played away at Tottenham).

Each of the bomber jackets featured a large white embroidered "A" at the chest, inspired by Arsenal's late 20th-century crest, while the team's name sat proudly at the rear.

In a game littered with drama, as is started for any North London Derby, it was Arsenal's bold fashion statement and class performance that snatched three points. North London is red (and pink!).
