After all these years, how does Drake out-Drake himself? By skipping the stage and performing in a fountain, naturally. Stepping outside the T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas for the Billboard Music Awards, Drake performed “Gyalchester” from his most recent album More Life in the Fountains of Bellagio at the Bellagio Las Vegas alongside Baka. There were fireworks involved. Check out the video of his performance below.

Before the awards show began last night, Drake already won. The Canadian rapper had claimed 10 trophies including Top Rap Artist, Top Rap Album (for last year’s VIEWS), and Top R&B Song (for “One Dance” featuring Wizkid and Kyla). In all, he took home 13 awards. With a whopping 22 total nominations, he ties with electronic duo The Chainsmokers for the most nominations this year.

Drake also kicked it with legendary Canadian singer Céline Dion, his dad, fellow Young Money artist Nicki Minaj, Desiigner, and comedian Kevin Hart.
