Drake sat down with BBC Radio 1’s 1Xtra Rap Show over the weekend and discussed the “culture vulture” tag he has been stamped with in the past, pointing out Wiley and the “confused haters” that have thrown this shade in his direction.

“I hate that people think that me being into music from these kids that are trying to make it and build a name for themselves is like, ‘Oh, that’s some culture vulture,’” he told host DJ Tiffany Calver.

He continued, “What does that even mean? I don’t understand. Would you rather me not acknowledge anything or not support? That’s some real confused hater sh*t.”

“It was Wiley that said that,” Drake told Calver, directly calling out the UK grime artist. “I just said his name cause I felt like that was some goofy shit. But yeah, I just didn’t like that. Like what are you talking about?”

Head to the 2:15 mark on the clip below to hear Drake discuss the “culture vulture” comments.
