Drake’s new album, Scorpion, has the entire internet in their feels and looks like it will dominate headlines for at least the foreseeable future. One of the artists to feature on the album is none other than JAY-Z, who had a verse on “Talk Up.”

While HOV’s verse didn’t pull any punches, the highlight is a reference the rapper made to the recently-slain XXXTentacion. JAY name drops the Florida rapper in the last two bars of his verse, which was obviously recorded at some point after XXXTentacion’s death on June 18.

JAY-Z reveals his displeasure at XXXTentacion being killed while George Zimmerman remains free, rapping “Y’all killed X and let Zimmerman live / Streets is done.”

This isn’t the first time JAY has mentioned Zimmerman, previously taking shots at him on DJ Khaled’s “Top Off” when he responded to Zimmerman’s death threats with: “Meanwhile Georgie Porgie sinnin’ and sendin’ me threats / Save your breath, you couldn’t beat a flight of steps / Try that shit with a grown man / I’ll kill that fuckboy with my own hand.”

JAY-Z isn’t the first rapper to express his condolences for XXXTentacion, joining the likes of Kanye West, Rick Ross, and J Cole among others.

In addition to the aforementioned reference, JAY-Z also had some words for President Donald Trump, rapping “I got your President tweeting / I won’t even meet with him.”
