JJJJound may have been outdone at its own minimalist game by Madewell. Even still, no one is churning out insanely-hyped, basic sneaker collaborations like the Montreal-based design studio.

Take JJJJound's 2019 Reebok Club C collab, for instance. The two's first linkup, which retailed for an affordable $110, fetches for up to $1,000-plus on the resale market. It's crazy, really.

There isn't much to the collaborative model, which arrives in simple schemes — white/beige and white/grey — with a blank tongue and that familiar JJJJound branding. The brands also dropped some NPC 2 sneakers together, which came in a few variations that were only a tad bit identical by super subtle details.

But for some reason, the mere presence of JJJJound in these bare-bones-level collabs sends sneakerheads wild, prompting swift sellouts and soaring post-retail prices every time.

The same energy is expected to follow with JJJJound's newest Reebok Club C shoe. In revisiting the model which kickstarted their partnership, JJJJound incorporates some olive hints into the latest offering.

Following in the footsteps of the 2019 shoes, the deep green hue hits on the fluffy interior and the bottom of the shoe. With the nylon tongue still void of any graphics or branding, JJJJound's logo again marks the spot on the signature leather upper.

Marked as a part of Spring/Summer 2023, JJJJound x Reebok's Club C in white/olive will arrive on April 6 on JJJJound's website. For those looking to cop, be there 12PM EST sharp!
