Killer Mike and the Atlanta Hawks are opening a new barbershop together. The newest location of Mike’s SWAG Shop will open at the renovated Philips Arena in Atlanta.

Killer Mike and his wife Shana Render first opened their S(have) W(ash) A(nd) G(room) Shop on Edgewood to offer a “sustainable opportunity for those struggling with employment.” The new iteration of the community-centric barbershop is set to open before the 2018-19 season.

“It really is like a dream coming true because now kids are going to be coming down early just to hang out in my shop, buy a t-shirt, get a haircut and watch the game,” Killer Mike said of SWAG Shop’s new location.

At Glastonbury last weekend, UK Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn introduced Run the Jewels with an inspirational speech. Back in 2015, Killer Mike and Bernie Sanders talked politics in Mike’s original SWAG Shop in Edgewood.
