Editor’s Notes: Jaden Smith has been spotted at various red carpet events rocking Louis Vuitton’s new Archlight silhouette so he’ll be happy to hear that the sneaker is arriving in a variety of new colorways for SS18. Perhaps most famously of all, the multi-hyphenate was seen nailing a moonwalk in them while performing live in December 2017.

The unconventional, chunky silhouette pushes the boundaries even in a world that has largely accepted bulky sneakers as the norm. The Archlight is LV’s answer to Balenciaga’s Triple S and Gucci’s Rhyton and, judging by Jaden’s co-sign, it looks like 2018 will see competition hit an all-time high.

While other sneakers focus mostly on a busy upper and chunky sole, Louis Vuitton has somehow kept this silhouette looking very sleek and futuristic in spite of the exaggerated arch, tongue, heel, and lacing systems.

The sneaker is available at select Louis Vuitton locations including a dedicated sneaker pop-up in New York's SoHo neighborhood and 5th Avenue and Beverly Hills Rodeo Drive now.

The Louis Vuitton SoHo pop-up in New York at 112 Greene Street is the only dedicated Louis Vuitton sneaker shop in the world, and will also be the one place to cop an exclusive all-black colorway of the Arclight sneaker.

The remaining locations will receive the sneakers on February 23.
