It is clear that Major Lazer are cooking up something special for their impending album. The Diplo-led outfit have shared several tracks over the past year, many of which feature an impressive roster of guest artists. However, their latest might take the cake. The band has just shared a track titled “Run Up” featuring the inimitable pairing of Nicki Minaj and PARTYNEXTDOOR. Listen to it above.

The track is built around typically bubbly Major Lazer production and PARTYNEXTDOOR sings the hell out of that hook, but we are clearly here for Miss Minaj. “I don’t put sugar in my spaghetti sauce” is one of the many phenomenal non-sequiters she delivers over the course of her guest verse.

Hype is running high for Major Lazer’s new album in the wake of such singles as “Cold Water,” featuring Justin Bieber and MØ, and “Night Riders,” featuring Pusha T, 2 Chainz and Travis Scott. Whether each track on this forthcoming record will have such a stacked list of guests is anyone’s guess, but so far all signs point to yes. Stay tuned for more!

In other music news, Alicia Keys has shared a new track for her birthday that amazingly samples Kanye West. Listen to it right here.
