McLaren has just unveiled its much-hyped new GT model, a beautiful touring supercar that blends sporting design with some killer stats. Not only will the GT do 0-60mph in 3.1 seconds, with a top speed of 203mph, it has a level of comfort and storage room for luggage you wouldn't normally associate with a supercar.

Lightweight and dynamic, the GT boasts a 612-horsepower turbocharged V8 engine. The bespoke MonoCell II-T (T for "touring") monocoque chassis adds minimal weight to the vehicle, which, according to McLaren, is 286 pounds lighter than its closest competitor, despite the generous luggage space and the fact the car is longer McLaren's other sports cars. The spacious interior features Nappa leather trim, which can be upgraded to luxury leather or cashmere.

The car is expected to hit the road by the end of 2019 and preorders are open now with a starting price of $210,000.
