Editor’s Notes: Following months of speculation, Kawhi Leonard has signed to the Los Angeles Clippers. New Balance wasted no time in revealing a special edition of Leonard's signature OMN1S in Clippers colors. Within minutes of the drop the shoe was sold-out, forcing potential buyers to wait for a restock.
The silhouette is given new life with a bold blue knit upper and a lace guard and tongue in contrasting bright red, while white on the band and outer sole offer clean accents.
It's been an eventful year for Leonard, who's NBA championship with the Toronto Raptors prompted rumors and a bidding war — even Drake was reportedly scheming to keep the basketball star in The Six. New Balance's revamp of the OMN1S is a suspiciously well-timed revamp of Leonard's beloved show.
Keep an eye on the New Balance website and stay tuned for a restock.
