Nike is already scheduled to kick off the new year with a series of Dunk colorways, and today we've received a look at an iteration that is sure to be coveted in 2021. Expected to return in the early part of next year is the "Michigan" Dunk Low.

Images of the University of Michigan-inspired pair recently surfaced on NikeTalk — albeit the grade school version — giving us a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming release. We see Varsity Maize and Midnight Navy-colored leather coming together across the upper, while a white midsole provides contrast below.

Nike has utilized Michigan's colors on the Dunk multiple times over the years, most recently on a high-top release. It's been since 1999 that the colorway arrived in low-top form, however, so the upcoming pair should be highly sought after. Virgil Abloh notably drew from the scheme with his "University Gold" Dunk Low from 2019.

Although images have made their way online, we still don't know when the Dunk Low "Michigan" will release. According to reports, it may drop in the first half of 2021. You can keep it locked here for further updates.
