Today, Rolex revealed its latest additions to its Oyster Perpetual collection.

Among the new timepieces is the GMT-Master II, arriving with a black face and a 24-hour rotatable bezel in a green color.

But it isn't just the color and design of the watch that is eye-catching – its crown is placed on the left. To create the new timepiece, the winding crown had to be moved to the left side of the watch case, and the date aperture to nine o'clock, and also modifying the date disc.

The Cerachrom bezel insert is also an exclusive colorway in green and black, that you won't find on another model.

The GMT-Master is a true classic. It has been around since 1955, and was initially created for "airborne adventure," whereas now it has become a go-to for collectors, watch enthusiasts, and those just looking to add one luxury timepiece to their collections.

In fact, the watch was present during the first intercontinental flight, as well as the Concorde testing, "feats that are human as much as they are technological find echo in the GMT-Master II with the crown on the left."

The watch is timeless and features all of Rolex's signature design cues and branding, and is currently available to purchase for £8,800 GB, which is approximately $11,500 USD.

If you want to get your hands on the GMT-Master II, you better run. As with all Rolex models, getting your hands on a piece is tricky – so you need to act fast if you're serious about making the investment.
