The highly popular Salehe Bembury x New Balance 2002 will drop in a second colorway. That colorway, tentatively called “Water,” was teased by Bembury on Instagram yesterday. The former Versace footwear designer, who recently left the fashion house to blaze his own trail, shared a photo of the heel of the shoe, which was enough to make his followers crazy.

The 2002’s distinctive 860v2 sole was immediately recognizable and featured hits of turquoise and bright green, as well as orange speckles on the predominantly white base layer. The sneaker’s heel features two different types of turquiose suede — one hairier than the other — as well as the same finger print-style print found on Bembury’s original 2002 collab.

While only a snippet of the sneaker is visible, users on Instagram were quick to get excited about the upcoming project. Bmebury’s first New Balance collab — the orange and yellow 2002 — was one of the sneakers of the year, as the designer impressed with his use of incredibly hairy suede and a big-hole mesh base.

Take a look at the teaser above and stay tuned for more information as we get it.
