Editor’s Notes: Size? has teamed up with Nike on a collaborative Air Force 1, paying tribute to the city of Manchester. The sneaker is inspired by the worker bee, which became a sign of hard work and grit during the industrial revolution, and has become a symbol of the city and its people.
The Size? x Nike Air Force 1 “Manchester” is strictly limited to 3,000 pairs and is only available through the Size? Launches app. In addition to thee sneaker being highly limited, 10 percent of all sales will be donated to Manchester-based charity We Love MCR and its ‘Rising Stars’ fund. The charity works to support young Mancunians from disadvantaged backgrounds to help gain the skills and knowledge to set up a better life for themselves.
