One surefire tactic to releasing a successful sneaker is to issue it in a colorway so bizarre that it borders on unwearable. adidas did that with the Energy Boost Glow Zone M back in late 2014, and its reflective finish was so desired that the sportswear giant has seen fit to give it a reissue.
The reflective Techfit upper is crafted from the same material usually found on hi-vis construction vests, meaning the sneaker illuminates whenever light hits it (a pretty useful tool for nighttime running, or impressing people in clubs). Meanwhile the Boost midsole puts an extra bounce in your step, and is reinforced with an Adiwear outsole and Torsion midfoot.
The adidas Energy Boost Glow Zone M is available from Invincible for $170.
