From the ground up

As Kanye is gearing up to release his new YEEZY Boost 350 “Infant,” Jimmy Kimmel decided to take it upon himself to provide an exclusive look at Ye’s next adidas sneaker, the YEEZY Boost 1150. Haven’t heard of them? Well, there’s a logical explanation for that, seeing as they don’t really exist.

Kimmel and his team instead purchased a pair of $13 kicks on eBay and set out for the streets to get fans thoughts on the sneaker, again, pretending that the shoe is West’s next release.

Surprisingly, no one really picked up on the joke, as some even said they’d pay up to $700 for the “YEEZYs.” The interviewer even went so far as to detail the kicks as the “first shoe built for standing,” and also said that they feature a built-in WiFi hotspot. Still, people went along with it somehow.
