Sneakers
From the ground up

adidas came back strong a couple of years ago when they brought back their iconic Stan Smith sneaker. Still today one sees the silhouette all over the place and it has sort of become the go-to clean tennis sneaker for the entire world. Next up the German brand introduced its new Boost sole technology with the adidas Ultra Boost and followed up with the NMD late last year. The Boost movement has propelled adidas into a completely new sphere, with lines building up outside stores weekly when new NMD sneakers are releasing.

For 2017 a Stan Smith with a full-length Boost sole is expected, basically fusing the very best that adidas has to offer into one sneaker. Furthermore a Superstar with Boost cushioning is also expected, with both sneakers expected to hit retail in February 2017. Here above you see a rendering of the Stan Smith Boost. We could also imagine the actual sneaker coming with a hidden Boost unit, but we will have to wait and see.
