Around this time last year, Drake was lamenting the fact that one of the year’s biggest hits, “Hotline Bling,” did not grant him his first number one. Now he has more number ones than he count after Spotify recently revealed that this year’s album VIEWS and lead single “One Dance” were the most-streamed album and single of 2016. Now, it seems he has repeated the feat on iTunes.

Only it’s iTunes so, you know, there’s money involved. VIEWS was the highest-selling record by a long shot, but the top five best-sellers were rounded out by Rihanna’s ANTI, Adele’s 25, Frank Ocean’s Blond(e) and Justin Bieber’s Purpose. And lest we forget, VIEWS was also nominated for album of the year at the recently-announced 2017 Grammy Awards.

So pour one out for Drizzy ya’ll. He earned it.

In other Drake news, he has just shared a previously unreleased track featuring vocals from Aaliyah. Listen to it right here.
