Today adidas unveils its first-ever cleat featuring Boost tooling. The move arrives as the brand has already made available the YEEZY 350 Cleat.
The inaugural Ultra Boost Cleat is packaged alongside a new colorway of the Ultra Boost 3.0 in what is being referred to as the “Silver Pack.” In addition to the capsule featuring the first cleat with Boost, the drop also boasts the initial silver Boost.
The Ultra Boost Cleat features a Primeknit one-piece bootie construction engineered to naturally move with the foot on the field and help give off a comfortable, precision fit with maximum breathability. The footwear in turn boasts a midfoot cage welded into the upper that wraps around the foot to award with a lockdown feel for multidirectional movement and control, while a reinforced toecap helps aid in structure and protection during plants and cuts. The Ultra Boost heel clip construction cradles the heel to help keep the foot centered over the top of the plate during acceleration and stopping. Finally, a Boost sockliner helps provide comfort and further reduces cleat pressure, while an all-new RAZORFRAME gives torsional rigidity and features strategically placed SPRINTSTUDS designed to provide peak performance and multi-directional strength and traction.
The Ultra Boost 3.0 with silver Boost then welcomes an updated rib structure Primeknit upper for an even better fit, support and breathability. The shoe still showcases a full-length Boost midsole and a Stretch Web outsole with a perforated, elastic design.
