It would appear the creative juices are flowing freely down in Herzogenaurach. Just a month after unveiling the Swift, adidas has announced yet another addition to its footwear arsenal: Meet the Deerupt Runner.
Continuing the Three Stripes’ penchant for performance shoes with a lifestyle twist, the kick arrives with a breathable mesh upper which has been overlaid with netting. Like the Swift, it arrives sans-Boost, and instead comes equipped with a pastel-colored midsole. Branding details are sparse, with a tonal trefoil heel tab the only indication that it is in fact a product of adidas.
If it looks familiar, that’s because it’s a dead ringer for the Tennis Hu, which was released in tandem with Pharrell Williams this year.
There’s no official release date yet, but reliable sources like the Yeezy Mafia suggest the shoe could arrive in March for a price of $120. Would you cop or drop?
