Drake may get a hard time for being a “fair-weather fan,” but one thing’s for sure: Aubrey loves his sports. Recently, Drizzy linked up with the king himself, LeBron James, as a part of LBJ’s Uninterrupted program.
Here, we find Drake interviewing LeBron and his former teammate, Chris Bosh. The three of course discuss hoops, as well as how they first met and more.
A portion of the sit-down was also dedicated to Vince Carter, now small forward for the Sacramento Kings, who once played for Drake’s Toronto Raptors.
“When Vince was popping in the city, we had nightclubs that seemed larger than life. We had celebrities coming to our city and performing that would’ve never been here before. We had rappers and people from here that were acting like we were in New York,” Drizzy noted. “People were driving different cars and starting businesses—he created a culture for us that we had only seen on television.”
Drake and LeBron have executive produced a new documentary on Carter, titled The Carter Effect. The film recently premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
