The past week has been a reminder that when it comes to striking visual campaigns, adidas is a hard act to top. After tapping the likes of Snoop Dogg and Desiigner for these operatic Originals Is Never Finished adverts, the brand's running arm enlists a selection of sports superstars to help introduce the AlphaBOUNCE AMS.
The short film stars NFL cornerback Marcus Peters, MLB shortstop Carlos Correa, NBA forward Justise Winslow and WNBA guard Moriah Jefferson. Shot in chiaroscuro and narrated by legendary spoken-word artist Gil Scott-Heron, the story highlights the hard work each put in outside of the game in a bid to reach the summit.
The shoes come equipped with Bounce technology for enhanced comfort, while a seamless FORGEDMESH upper sculpts to the foot and allows increased freedom of movement. Looks wise, the once loud Aramis-inspired print has been dimmed down a tad and is now featured in tonal black, blue, and white colorways.

Staying with tonal sneakers, the NMD_R1 is being restocked at the end of this month.
