Editor’s Notes:adidas is back alongside AriZona Iced Tea for a second collaboration following an initial launch earlier this summer. This time around adidas is paying homage to four classic AriZona drink flavors in a collection featuring the Continental Vulc and adilette slide. Consisting of 12 shoes in total (two of which are children’s shoes), the collab pulls inspiration from AriZona’s most popular flavors: Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey, Lemon, Mucho Mango, and Watermelon.
Four colorways of the Continental Vulc reference the four aforementioned AriZona drink flavors. The black and turquoise pair — constructed from nubuck and featuring embroidered canvas panels — represents the Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey can. The white full-grain leather iteration points to AriZona’s Lemon flavor, as the sneaker boasts contrasting turquoise details and all-over embroidered graphics. The Mucho Mango and Watermelon flavors receive yellow and red colorways, respectively. Each is crafted from nubuck and canvas, while all-over embroidered graphics reference the flavor’s original can design.
Additionally, two women’s colorways of the Continental Vulc are inspired by Lemon and Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey flavors. The Lemon version features black nubuck and canvas, and is printed with the can’s geometric pattern. The Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey sneaker is pink and turquoise, showcasing an all-over print of the flavor’s cherry blossom pattern.
