Editor’s Notes: adidas brought the Continental 80 back last year to much fanfare, in large part due to the sneaker’s retro look, as well as the low price point. Now, the brand with the Three Stripes is gearing up to release a new selection of colorways of the low-top model.
At the core, the Continental 80 pulls inspiration from archival training shoes from the 1980s. Here, we find the silhouette offered in tumbled leather and suede variations, all of which boast Trefoil branding and come with tonal laces. Multiple iterations then welcome a gum midsole.
adidas’s SS19 Continental 80 colorways are due to roll out beginning February 1. Available in both men’s and women’s sizes, the sneaker retails for a low $80.
In other Three Stripes news, the Jonah Hill-approved Lexicon Future will now drop in February.
