More than a year after adidas signed James Harden for a massive 13-year, $200m contract, the Three Stripes unveils the NBA superstar's first signature shoe. Dubbed the Harden Vol. 1, the shoe sports a Primeknit upper with contrasting leather toe wrap, and a Boost sole unit.

First up is the "Pioneer" colorway, which mixes a stealthy black upper with a white toe box and contrasting red detailing. adidas has also unveiled three further colorways of the Harden Vol. 1 — "Home" (that's the red one), "Cargo" (olive green) and "Gila Monster" (grey and coral).

The shoe drops December 3 for $140.
