Following their first collaborative capsule from October of last year, adidas Originals and Tokyo’s have a good time are back together for a SS19 release. Consisting of apparel and footwear, the new collection points to have a good time’s appreciation for iconic streetwear styles, past and present.
The graphics-heavy assortment pits the classic adidas trefoil and the framed have a good time logo side by side, showcased within a blue border. This co-branding is seen on a short-sleeved T-shirt with taped Three Stripes on the sleeves, a game jersey inspired by soccer apparel of the ’90s, and a pair of velour track pants and matching track top. Also featured in the collaboration is a middle-gauge knitted sweatshirt in a clear blue reminiscent of Argentina’s football team uniforms.
To complement the apparel, adidas and have a good time present new iterations of the Superstar and the Gazelle Super. The Superstar welcomes a laser-engraved message on the sidewall, a SS19 logo on the tongue, and “have a trefoil time” on the collar and sock linings. The Gazelle Super then features the aforementioned Argentina-inspired clear blue hue, while boasting the same logo treatments as the Superstar.
adidas Originals and have a good time’s SS19 collection is due to arrive on January 19 at select adidas stores, have a good time’s Manhattan retail location, adidas.com and the have a good time web store.
