We have seen a wealth of fresh editions of the adidas Originals Superstar 80s sneaker this summer. From a luscious Rainbow Primeknit to the recent faded blues of the Rio 2016 Olympics special, all have had an emphasis on color in addition to the iconic silhouette’s form. But a new Superstar 80s made with Korean sneaker store Kasina has gone the opposite route, serving up a sleek suede pair that is all about the minimalist aesthetic.

Kasina’s Superstar boasts an upper that is nearly entirely constructed from suede, from the lush upper to the medial side panels. Black suede makes for a nice contrast on the heel cap and tongue. The whole thing is finished off with pronounced splashes of red, appearing on the bolts, eyelets and subtle accents, while black appears again in the brand stitching, which looks to be a reference to Kanye's first silhouette for adidas, the YEEZY Boost 350.

Look out for the Kasina x adidas Originals Superstar 80s to appear on August 20 through retailers like Solebox.

In other adidas Originals news, the brand has just launched an all black Stan Smith Primeknit.
