Model: A.R. Trainer and SC Premiere
Key Features: Both silhouettes sport premium leather constructions, but the A.R. Trainer is detailed with a panelled composition to reference ’80s tennis sneakers. The A.R. Trainer maintains the ’80s aesthetic with a classic training sole unit and trefoil logo. In contrast, the SC Premiere is a modern iteration of the adidas court archive aesthetic with a crisp leather upper and rests on top of a rubber midsole with a contrasting off-white outsole. The model is topped off by a contrasting heel-tab and trefoil logo branding on the lateral side.
Release Date: January 24

Editor’s Notes: After unveiling its Reflective Nite Jogger, adidas presents two new silhouettes as part of its 2019 footwear collection. Both the SC Premiere and the A.R. Trainer take cues from classic and contemporary contexts.
The all-new A.R. Trainer is a reinterpretation of the 1988 ASC Trainer, while the SC Premiere is a modernized take on of the adidas court archive aesthetic. Each style is defined by the aforementioned details noted above.
