adidas Originals and White Mountaineering present a clean lookbook for their collaborative Spring/Summer 2016 collection. Yosuke Aizawa, the creative behind the Tokyo-based label, applied his progressive functional perspective to the heritage of the Three Stripes, elevating classic sportswear pieces through futuristic cuts and high-end technical fabrics such as GORE-TEX and cotton-nylon blends.

Classic sportswear silhouettes, like T-shirts, sweatpants, windbreakers and outerwear, receive panel constructions and a muted color palette treatment that has the effect of uniting the offerings under White Mountaineering’s distinctive stylized approach to utility and fashion.

Footwear, meanwhile, brings the same approach to a range of classic and contemporary adidas silhouettes, presented in the brand’s signature cold-weather color schemes and finished off with premium touches.

Look for the first drop of the SS16 season to drop at select retailers and online February 26, with the second drop to follow on April 9.
